The compact design with tough steel casing is ideal for wiring closets, conference rooms, or small offices requiring reliable performance and quiet operation.

The 6 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Appliance provides a cost-effective way for SOHO and SMB to deploy network applications including Firewall, VPN, Load Balancing, Software defined WAN (SD-WAN), Unified Threat Management (UTM), Wireless Network Access Controller (NAC) and Virtual Customer Premise Equipment (vCPE) quickly and easily without complicated configuration.

Designed around the 6W TDP Intel® Atom™ N3350 Processor SoC, the FWS-2271 is a very capable, extremely energy-efficient network appliance with excellent performance. Expansion opportunities are available with 2 Mini-card slots enabling the addition of Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE for greater connectivity, in addition to an internal SATA III connector for a 2.5" HDD. The advanced security and management features are easily accessible via a dedicated console port and an integrated HDMI port enabling both local and remote administration.
